Both cousins came over yesterday. Cousin #3 worked on my to-do list and got a lot done. We have a huge bag of my husband's clothes to donate (nowhere near all of them) and two big bags of trash. She may be able to come over this coming weekend.
I have a ton of shredding to do. I will never catch up. The Township is having a Shred-It event for free October 18 between 9-12. Cousin #3 said she would take my shredding there. I have 3 huge bags to shred.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Ham (was tough and gristly), cheesy potatoes (most of the potatoes were hard), BEETS (yuck - 2 times in one week) and peaches/pears
Dessert/Snack - Trail mix
Dinner - Buffalo chicken/Muenster sandwich, chips
What did you eat yesterday?

I'm glad they got a lot done and hope they get a lot more done this coming weekend.

@LindaOHio I understand.
I think I mentioned that one of the plastic totes in the garage had a slice in the bottom of it and water seeped into it. Pretty keep saying she wants to take all the food out of the totes in the house and put it in the tote with the sliced bottom and all the cleaned quilts that were in that tote and put them in the food totes and take them back out to the garage but hasn't even started doing that yet. All the cleaned quilts are still piled in the living room so nobody can sit in there if we wanted to.
I suggested just buying a new tote for the quilts but she insists she'll clean the mud out of that big tote one of these days so we can switch things around. I'll believe that when she does it.
I really hope she doesn't wait until it's time for another house inspection and expect it all to happen overnight.

There is so much to do. It's nice to cross things off my list.

I am currently going through my clothes as I have time. I have the opposite problem, many are too big.

We don't have stuff to shred. Glad that they have a good system there. Nice that #3 was able to get a lot done.

I found a BBQ place in Elk City and had a SUPERB BBQ chicken half-sandwich and BBQ chicken-stuffed baked potato. So big that it was lunch and dinner.

@LindaOHio — it was astonishing. The places that do BBQ chicken (a lot of them don’t, concentrating on pork and beef) do it so, so well.

That's good to hear that the cousins got a lot accomplished for you. I can certainly understand the whole shredding thing. I have a big box of stuff to shred and I really have no idea where it all comes from.
Is there any way you can request no beets from your meals on wheels?

@LindaOHio I figured as much but thought I would ask I like beets but find it odd what meals they pair them up with. Most of what you get does sound good though

Many years ago we bought a shredder. It does come in handy.

I wish you could get better meals. I love sandwiches but if I had to eat as many as you do, I would probably never eat one again/

I need to eat more of the frozen dinners; but I hate for the sandwiches to get stale.

No. They are all the same. I pay $2.50 per meal. If you can't afford it, they are free. I will check out Factor. Thanks.
