I hope my American friends had a good July 4th. They set off firecrackers until 11 pm.
SIL is back home in Phoenix. She was a huge help.
There is no way I can catch up with Discussions so I'm going to miss a lot of news.
Went to the dentist last week. The tooth that's been bothering me has to have a root canal. Yikes.
J will be coming today. My grass cutter will also be coming over to give me an estimate on finishing up the tree trimming. I don't want to deal with the original guy since he should have done the job right the first time.
I can't recap meals since I don't remember 4 days' worth of eating.

I am sure you will miss SIL. It was wonderful, what all she did, I'm so glad.
I detest root canals. I am just sorry you have to do that.

Your SIL was a lot of help to you, huh? That is great.
We had fireworks until about the same time. Not like we used to have at all.
It is so irritating when people don't do their jobs correctly the first time around. I'm sorry you have to deal with that.
We had hot dogs and baked beans for the 4th. About the only time I eat hot dogs.
Oh, Gick! A root canal. I remember just one I had. It took forever.

Oh, joy, nothing like a root canal. 
I had the usual for lunch, grilled cheese for dinner. I bought a watermelon and cut it up, eating some of it as I divided it up for servings. And fiber!

@LindaOHio — take Tylenol an hour or so before the appointment. Helps reduce the pain. (No NSAIDs, they will thin the blood and may cause bleeding n the process.)

Pretty just left in the medical taxi for her dental appointment. I should have one coming up, too.
There is no way I'll remember what I ate while you were gone. I barely remember what I ate yesterday. 
I ate a chicken sandwich on sourdough bread for breakfast, ate the last of the fresh strawberries for lunch yesterday and ate a black plum and a hamburger without a bun for supper last night.

I had to have a root canal done years ago on my top tooth, the one right in the middle. I guess because of that this tooth is a different color than my other teeth. I’ve been told to do a crown there but no way. I hope the root canal will not be such a bad experience for you.

Yeah, mine is in the front too. Had it done about 30 years ago. I said no to a crown too.

I do hope J came as she said she would. You will feel better once that tooth is fixed. I know what I ate today, and it was not enough.

With her gone you're on your own again so I wish you all the best, I saw some of the firesworks frommy window, The heat has me eating my little pizzas with flour tortillas, pizza sauce, pepperoni and this time topped with shredded mozzarella. Also strawbery cheese a litle one I bought and I got to try and love Jello cups with jelly and cheesecake they ar delicious and this time crunchy ice cream sticks,

I'm glad your SIL was such a big help and I'm sure you miss her.
Sorry to hear about the root canal and also that the tree trimming gets done.
Don't worry about missing the meals. I rarely remember what I ate a day later
