DE @sallypup The ones mom told me to pick were the ones with the pink flowers. You can eat the flowers, flower buds, stems and roots from it. They're called native Field thistles.

DE @sallypup It's still a pretty flower. I always liked thistle flowers, too. Mom taught me how to harvest thistle for the table when I was a kid. I would never call you stupid.... I'd just think you might not know about wet grass and machines.
