Mom has her new hearing aids

Traceyjayne @Traceyjayne (15156) • United Kingdom 22 May

So, we collected Moms new hearing aids this morning. A lovely champagne colour. The audiologist fitted them and did tests both on Moms hearing and the actual hearing aids. She explained slowly and carefully about the various...

Jennifer Daw I love when I find a doctors office or specialist that actually loves their job and takes their time with people. Not everyone is the same and older people need the better explanation some times. So glad you and your mom had a great person that loves her job...

I found out one of my credit cards is charging me no interest. Wow, I signed up for this card going on two years ago. It has been more than 20 months. Their interest free status was supposed to be for the first 15. I was shocked...

Jennifer Daw I do not have any credit cards as I kind of messed that up when I was younger. BUT I do know that no interest is amazing that is for sure. I believe that I would keep that one for sure with them not charging you any interest. Only bad thing is if you actually...

Zabaglione

rakski @rakski (164386) • Philippines 22 May

I tried an Italian dessert called zabaglione for the first time. It was when we had a buffet dinner. I found it really interesting and delicious. It had a soft, velvety texture that reminded me of custard. I don't have a...

Jennifer Daw It defiantly looks like it is very good. Even looks like it would be a light desert. I have never heard of it before so either we do not have it around here or its just that fancy as it looks and I have never been able to afford to go to a place that serves it...

Or at least, our garden has. A pair of mallard ducks has taken a liking to our garden pond! Last year I did see a pair of ducks visit once or twice, but they didn’t stick around. But this year a pair – maybe the same ones – has...
