I'm here and things have been difficult but I am still holding my own

Sissy15 @sissy15 (13545) • United States 28 Aug

It has been a bit since I made an appearance, so I decided to stop in for a little bit. My life has been very difficult lately. It keeps going from bad to worse, but somehow I'm hanging in there and staying sane. I've been taking...

Can You Believe a Child Could Develop This Issue?

celticeagle @celticeagle (194963) • Boise, Idaho 28 Aug

I have been following the "House of Horrors" and the Siter family. 16 children living(barely) in deplorable conditions. I wonder how long they have been living in these conditions and what else may have been going on. They hadn't...

Dolly Parton

Sissy15 @sissy15 (13545) • United States 28 Aug

As everyone knows, and I'm sure several have probably already posted about it, Dolly Parton died the other day. Dolly was such a big part of my childhood and in the background of my life. My mom was a big country music fan, and...

Last time I was at the caravan the blackberries were just starting to appear. They were not quite ready by the time I came home. With all the sunshine and hot weather we have been having im sure that they soon ripened and were...

Good morning

Michael @Wrexxo (9727) 29 Aug

It's 7:11 a.m. and I'm still in bed, but I've got a busy day ahead: cleaning the house and a quick market run. Weather today is a comfortable 24°C, with a low of 22°C and a high of 29°C. No other updates for now, just getting...

What a tragedy!

Toni @toniganzon (81968) • Philippines 29 Aug

My friend came home to his condo Thursday evening to find fire trucks and a police car. He thought there might just be a drill. But he was wrong. A man killed his wife and children and jumped off the building after doing so....

Climate change causes an increase in child brides

Judy Evans @JudyEv (389849) • Rockingham, Australia 9 Jul

It may seem an odd fact, but when tropical storms hit poor Asian communities, it has a devastating effect on communities. A warmer atmosphere and rising sea temperatures increase the intensity of tropical storms, impacting heavily...

A need for cheerful things here.

Marie Coyle @MarieCoyle (64260) 9 Jul

This has been a week for sure. A cousin and her son were tragically killed Tuesday afternoon. This was near where I used to live...and the family of course is crazy grieving. My last remaining aunt, in her 90's but still active,...

Xavier Bage @franxav (14641) • India 9 Jul

Long ago somewhere I read about school children, especially boys, returning home with dirty uniforms, muddied shoes and socks and sometimes even with torn shirt pockets etc. It's raining in Bengal . The playground is wet . There...

DOJ Idiocy

celticeagle @celticeagle (194963) • Boise, Idaho 9 Jul

I do hope they don't let Todd Blanche be the actual Attorney General. His answer to a judge demanding Epstein files being made available was that the DOJ just couldn't be bothered. I wonder what the judges answer to that will be....

That sucks.

Fiacre Banks @xFiacre (15454) • Ireland 10 Jul

Did you see that? A man (Serbian, if that makes any difference) was partially sucked out of a Ryanair plane on a flight from Thessaloniki. There was a bang, the window broke, oxygen masks dangled and the plane turned back to...

Do you buy branded merchandise?

Amber @AmbiePam (131227) • United States 10 Jul

I don’t generally wear or use branded merchandise unless I find a bank pen I accidentally walked away in possession. So have you heard of Longhorn Steakhouse (it’s fairly popular here)? A young man from Cameroon decided four years...
