When we pulled up at the adult playground in Katanning, Western Australia, I was surprised to see the lawn covered in what looked a bit like kangaroo poo. However, there was too much of it even if the roos were brave enough to...

I have been told I have the patience of a saint. But this morning my patience was tested. I had two items at Safeway, a bottle of wine and a dozen eggs.
The lady in front of me (in line) was having some kind of "incident." It...

I just used it to write an online for a story that I didn't want to write. It was quite good, but I added my own touches to it, to make it mine. It might not pass a check for a publisher, but it is good enough for my group. I have...

Be honest: do you ever skip the “proper” dinner and make breakfast instead? I’m talking eggs on toast, pancakes, a full fry-up, or beans and hash browns at 7 p.m.
If you’re a fan, what’s your go-to plate and why does it hit the...

I had no idea how selfish I was. I keep selling things, but my friend will say things like, this person is struggling, and I’ll cut the price of what I’m selling. And then I’ll kind of be like, darn, I wish I didn’t feel compelled...

APARAJITA BHATTACHARJEE Once during the outbreak of Covid, I'd helped parents by giving them money as I felt a very strong urge to help them. They had come with the plea that they were unable to pay the fees. I later felt I shouldn't have. They never returned the money.

Have you ever asked yourself this question. Personally I would like to be a bird, any animal that have wings and who is able to fly.

I've just spent the last five hours alone. I loved it. Quiet. Peaceful. Calming.
Hubby is retired, so he is always around the house. Today, he is helping our daughter with an errand, and I am loving it. I get very little alone...

I had a life time friend who I always put her needs above myself (which was wrong I realized now). I devoted too much to her. And recently years I was in all kinds of challenges: mentally and physically, career wise, financial,...

Two questions here, really. Do you think it's possible to be friends with the opposite gender?
What about after dating the person and the relationship doesn't work out, do you think it's possible to be just friends after that?
