He didn't get transferred to rehab. His blood pressure was too high; and he has a bowel blockage. I don't know if he will be transferred today or not. His cousin and I plan on visiting him. Was hoping not to have to brave the chaos around Cleveland Clinic again; but it looks like we will have to.
When I spoke with him last night, he was in a lot of pain and didn't want to talk.. I hope he feels better today.

No, it’s best he does not go to rehab until he has less medical issues to combat. They are not outfitted for that kind of care in the rehab, unfortunately.
I am sorry to hear he is in pain. Hopefully the doctors can get a handle on all of this.

@rebelann Nope. He's still at Cleveland Clinic. He's in the Surgical ICU.

@JudyEv I'm hoping her son is better and she can take me Friday. I just don't want to risk my husband catching something. He has enough problems.

My husband's cousin couldn't take me. Her son has a fever. Just as well because he was between Cleveland Clinic and the rehab facility yesterday.

They don't give him the best medical care at rehab so I know it is hard but it is best that he stays where they are taking good care of him. Hope he feels better when you go see him.

Wasn't able to go see him plus they transferred him to rehab yesterday. Wasn't able to talk to him; so I have no idea how he's feeling.

@Happy2BeMe Nope. He wasn't at rehab. They transferred him to a different floor at Cleveland Clinic. He's in the Surgical ICU and is attached to a bunch of wires again.

He doesn't eat his veggies and fruit like he should. He had a week of eating pot roast and other beef meals.

@BarBaraPrz The blockage is gone...now he is in Cleveland Clinic's Surgical ICU. They have him attached to all those wires again. Having trouble with his blood pressure again...too high and then too low. Also has an infection in his arm.

I think that he´ll be better at the hospital. From what you told us about rehab. nurses there are not the best. I´m keeping you both in my thoughts.

@vandana7 Nope he's still at Cleveland Clinic. He is now in Surgery ICU with a bunch of wires attached to him again. He is almost always in AFIB. Now his blood pressure is too low again or too high....I forget which.

Hope they can get his pressure lower and of course deal with the bowel blockage before they transfer him. I'm sure he'll be happy to see you today. It's too bad, though, that you have to deal with all that traffic to the clinic.

I hope the blockage gets resolved quickly. The pain can make his blood pressure go too high.

OMG poor guy, I keep praying and I sure hope he will get better, Meanwhile make sure you have all the facts and are satisfied with everything before they transfer him to rehab so that another incident doesn't occur, Virtual hugs.
