Yes, I was MIA again. I was worn out from Thursday's X-ray appointment and doctor's appointment plus I had to lie flat on my back for the X-rays and could barely straighten up and walk. Also, on Friday the workman was here to finish up the inside and outside work.
Thank you to those who checked up on me!
The kidney stone operations will be done as outpatient procedures with 5 to 7 days of recovery per operation. They will be doing one side at a time. They will be calling in the near future to schedule the procedures.

Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Ham, cheesy potatoes, mixed veggies
Dessert/Snack - Brownie, low salt nuts

5/15/26

Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Chicken Alfredo, noodles, broccoli, cauliflower, tropical fruit
Dessert/Snack - Brownie, low salt nuts
Dinner - PB&J sandwich, low salt chips, yogurt
What did you eat yesterday?

@MarieCoyle That's what I told her. She's had Swedish meatballs every day for a century.

Those appointments can be exhausting. I am glad they are doing one side at a time. My sister did not seem to have any trouble after her stone procedures, so I hope you do not either.

@LindaOHio Some days better than others. Did I tell you Dale is the new pastor at our church? Very proud of him.
The kids are here this weekend, so that's nice. Take care of yourself. Love you.

I would be exhausted too after having to go through the x-ray and doctor appointment. Hope they can schedule the first procedure soon and you can get it over with.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Linda. I know this isn't something you were anticipating.

@LindaOHio I'm sure you're anxious to have it all done and over with. Will you have someone to help when you get home since it's an out-patient procedure?

Unfortunately not. Cousin #2 is in FL; and cousin #3 is too busy. J will be taking me for the surgeries I'm sure; but we haven't established a comfortable relationship yet.

I am glad it seems like things are under control there. Maybe you will feel better after the operations. I keep forgetting to take my iron. and it seems like I am getting overly tired. I will mention to doc when I see him again..which I think is about two months.

Thursday was the usual for lunch and a baked potato and broccoli from Cattleman’s Roadhouse (ate one of the rolls without butter, too!).
Friday was a chicken Cobb salad from Chuy’s that was so big (after ordering half of it) that I had the rest of it for dinner.
Fiber bars and applesauce both days too! And an apple from the hotel breakfast bar!

Whenever I have an appointment, I get exhausted; and it takes me a day to recover. Maybe I'm just old.

I have a feeling it's going to be a very hot summer. They are predicting 87 for us tomorrow. For May in Ohio that's hot.

I am so glad to see your post, Linda. I do understand about procedures and appointments being stressful. Now you have a plan and hopefully the SIL can be there with you. We have all been concerned about you!

I get exhausted when I go out. I don't know why. Maybe it's my age.

Yes. I don't like being in the hospital or in rehab. I'd rather be home.

I am cutting back on my time on myLot... My eyes burn after just a few minutes here now... I will try to get to my friends but may have to pick and choose which friends I visit with now. I was only on myLot around half an hour yesterday and then my eyes swelled up again during the night.
I ate a sausage, egg and cheese croissant for breakfast yesterday, ate some BBQ beef brisket with mashed potatoes and sweet corn for lunch and ate a sliced chicken sandwich on sourdough bread for supper last night. I ate corn chips with salsa for a snack yesterday afternoon.

You gotta do what you gotta do.
Let's see...the 14th was Thursday. What the heck did we eat? Oh yeah, it was a leftover night. We had baked chicken thighs with carrots and garlic mashed potatoes. I think. lol
Friday, I made pork and kraut—actually we might have had the mashed potatoes then. Yeesh, there goes the memory.
Actually, now that I think about it I might have made the chicken noodle soup on Thursday. I know we ate SOMETHING. Or did I make that on Wednesday?
