I got to talk to Horse Jr. today. He is sixteen now, the same age as both my Nissan Xterra and my Chevy Silverado, and one Year older than Kate, my star guitar student.
He tricked me by pretending to an "extended warranty...

I do have my phone weather app that will come on and talk with a warning if one is nearby. It’s helpful when it’s dark or I am...

I took Vince to the hospital this morning to have some fluid drained from around one lung. After some time and a bit of confusion, they put in a drain and he has to stay overnight. Luckily, he took an overnight bag with him.
He...

On our way to church yesterday, we got a message that my friend Winnie in Scotland has passed away. She had lung cancer that had spread and she died one week after being diagnosed.

The glare of sun on glass may make this find a bit hard to view. I'm sorry about that.
I saw this art piece last time I was in the Senior thrift store but hesitated cause the price was not the usual 2 dollars. Today the piece...

This morning my former neighbor had words with Smokey McSmokerson out on the landing at 5:30am. The dog snarled and growled and he felt the need to tell her that he would kick the dog in the head if he came after him. Yeah so that...

I was wondering how many of you had heard the phrase “peachy keen”. It means something is wonderful, or going well. Someone may ask you how you’re doing, and one replies “peachy keen”. It’s also used to be sarcastic if things are...

There’s nothing like waking up and checking the weather, only to see that the place I ran away to is under a severe weather risk. So I had to run away from that while running away from the Derby madness!!
That puts me in...

Marie Coyle I am somewhat behind in here, and catching up as I can. I hope your foot is better, stepping on a nail is no fun at all. I stepped on one a few years back, and it went clear through the bottom of my foot and out the top...I had to go to the ER with that thing...
