M Cheung Yes, we do have seasonal meals. In winter, we have lamb hotpot, Braised chicken with some Chinese herbs, and we sometimes drink ginger tea.

marguicha Stews, casseroles and legumes are wonderful for cold weather. And now I´m eating salads as it is summer. I also make omelettes and I eat then warm (not hot).

Valerie J. Routhieaux It's a good time for chili too. I haven't had stew in a long time. We have a balmy -9 with a windchill at -23. I'm not going anywhere either. Enjoy your stew. I might make tuna mac and cheese. It's my comfort food lately and perfect for a chilly day.
