Mine just dropped another leaf... my cousin Benny just died, complications from pneumonia. I'm not sure how old he was, in his 50s anyway. He had 3 or 4 kids. You can tell we weren't close, but he was very likeable.

86 days until spring.
Can you believe it's Christmas Eve already? I have no plans for tonight; but tomorrow is the day that cousin #2 comes over and makes dinner. We will probably watch a movie.
What are you doing...

We keep things pretty simple in the Looeyville household. We are minimalists. We don't go out much. We don't like a lot of celebration and fanfare.
Lately our schedules have been really full with doctor's appointments, taking...

Yes, I turned on my air conditioner. Today, it will be a “delightfully” humid 78 degrees F (26 C). You might think, that’s not bad. But you forget the humidity of Oklahoma, and how sticky it gets. Not to mention, it’s winter!...

I took a late nap last night so then was up at 10p and wide awake texting with my ex....

A Rolex watch was shown which had belonged to a British POW who was interned...

We ate at Logan's Restaurant (it's a steakhouse) yesterday because we were nearby and hadn't been there in several months.
They had a new appetizer on the menu and often I just eat appetizers because I can't eat a full-sized...

We are on our second day of really dense fog.
Our plan was to go to a small zoo in the area, and then go out to eat. That would be in Hutchinson, about an hour and a half away.
We were going to come home through Newton, because...

I'm looking for snacking options while trying to limit carbs and sugar. I'm also trying to get more savory than sweet.
So I found these chips online and they had them at Kroger, so I bought a bag of the Himalayan Salt ones and...

To define covetous, it means longing or desiring another's property or possessions.
I always thought covetous meant an insatiable greed for things.
Anyway, I remember in school, when learning the ten commandments, one of them...

There is a house a few miles from here that puts up a huge number of inflatables for Halloween and also for Christmas. I would say they have 10 or 15 out there now.Inflatables are nice, but I prefer lights. Has anyone in your area...

Four Walls I guess people think they’re easier to deal with than putting lights on the house. My next door neighbors are at the point where they have to have help to put their lights on the house.
I like a mixture…especially when they have something cute like a Grinch...
