Hello! This is NOT where I planned on myLotting this evening.
I’m in the emergency room. The Covid test was positive. I suppose that’s good because that saves them from looking for a lot of different things.
I don’t know...

The data from my smart watch indicated problems last night. Needless to say, my numbers were in the toilet because I was sick. It showed my wrist temperature, heart rate, and breathing off…not to mention only recording about...

January 26 is a holiday in Australia as it’s Australia Day. There was some controversy about the name for a few years but that seems to have died down.
We’ll be spending three nights away with friends at their seaside house so...

Friends , I thought it a good idea to give a glimpse of a wall mural of horses in action that adorns my living room. This is a large size mural and painted by a famous artist. Made years back it still looks wonderful.

ImroseM I think the photo is not doing full justice to it. I am sure in reality it must be superb.

NOW you’re starting to worry. If this guy isn’t top ten, then what is? Oh, come on, you know me better than that. This is definitely one of the biggest celebrity losses of 2025, and...

America and Australia share a language but we also have quite a few differences in the way we use words and expressions.
One I’ve noticed is the word ‘wreck’. I’ve read remarks like ‘we were in a wreck’ or ‘following a wreck…’ ....

ImroseM Wreck is an absolute write-off. An accident is much softer. Wrck can be used for both living and non-living objects. It's all passable in colloquial language, but when it's printed, it should be used appropriately. Just because a certain group of people use it...

My oh so exciting afternoon consisted of lunch, watching TV, and getting something ready for the mail. I also did some reading, which I need to do a progress report on on Amazon GoodReads.
Right now it's 4:41 by my computer...

I was away (again) for quite some time. I just had to grieve for a...

I normally don't follow many celebrities. And for sure, I have never, ever been a Kardashian fan. But a friend sent this to me and couldn't believe it was even true--evidently it really is.
Kim Kardashian bought her 12-year-old...

ImroseM I don't think she is asking for anyone's approval. It's her money, and she is free to spend it how she likes. Buying a diamond for your own kid is not a big deal. Well, if you can afford it, why not?? As far as charity is concerned, it is not everyone's cup of...

The photo shows the jigsaw puzzle that I’ve just completed. Unfortunately, there are four pieces missing but I’ve noted them on the packet so I’ll know next time I play it.
It wasn’t nearly as hard as I thought it would be. I...

It's 9:19 p.m. by my computer clock, and I need to get to bed.
Tomorrow's Wednesday, and I hope to get a little more done around here.
I'll check the website tomorrow, but I think I may have a library book to pick up. I may...

I asked the nurse if she had any snacks because the clear liquids I was given for dinner simply didn't get the job. She gave me 3 mini packets of Saltines and a bottle of water. As if that was going to make a difference. She did...

The photo is of another pretty outfit that was once worn by my nieces.
We went to see Vince’s eldest brother today. He is in hospice while the next eldest is in hospital. Both are terminally ill. They share a birthday.
