Christa Pike

Sissy15 @sissy15 (13564) • United States 10 Oct

I'm sure by now many people have heard of the Christa Pike story. She survived her execution. She was supposed to be executed by lethal injection; only she survived it and was rushed to the hospital, where she was put on a...

Jim Bauer A well laid out argument and thoughtful post. At the end of the day there was a conviction and a sentence, and regardless of the what, why or how, justice needs to be served and the penalty needs to be carried out. For me that is a period, end of story...

What do you wear to bed?

April @thislittlepennyearns (73290) • Defuniak Springs, Florida 11 Oct

Pajamas would be the easy answer. But not everyone wears pajamas. I do most of the time. My sister made me several sets of cow themed pajamas. Because she loves me and I love cows. I have two sets that have both pants and...

Jim Bauer Usually, it's just a regular tee shirt and either a pair of "sleeping shorts" or "sleeping pants" as I call them. I never sleep naked. I just can't do it.

When was the last time you went to the cinema?

Thelma @thelme55 (80399) • Germany 10 Oct

Hello everyone! It is weekend again. I hope you’re enjoying it. I just post this discussion before I will cook and then go to the cinema with my friends. We will be watching the Forgotten Island movie. It’s a kind of anime movie...

A smiling burger

Pitstop @pitstop (15692) • India 8 Oct

We hustled up some burgers at home for dinner last night - fried some chicken patties and got some buns. Not too bad at all. My daughter decided to spruce hers up with some ketchup art and made a smiley face on it. While it...

Jim Bauer I'm too old to play with my food. lol. I just eat it. But this seems like a fun thing to do if you're at "that" age. By the way, this is not a burger. This is a chicken sandwich.

I just stuck dinner in the oven. Well the main course of dinner. She child requested orange chicken tonight, and I didn't feel like making it from scratch. So I grabbed the InnovAsian frozen orange chicken and tossed it in the...

Jim Bauer I like the Innovasian Orange Chicken. I always add onions, bell peppers and broccoli and use the sauce that comes with it, and just serve it over a bed of hot, white Jasmine rice. That's good eats right there. I prefer from scratch too, but it can be a...

Forget Swiftie's new cd. Miranda Lambert's new one has been released!

John Roberts @JohnRoberts (108584) • Los Angeles, California 9 Oct

Miranda Lambert's latest cd "Crisco" has dropped and I got my copy. She's my favorite contemporary singer. And country to boot! Go figure. "Crisco" is better than her last two efforts "Postcards from Texas" and "Palomino" because...

Hurricane Check In #8

April @thislittlepennyearns (73290) • Defuniak Springs, Florida 9 Oct

The hurricane has been downgraded to a category one or maybe even a tropical storm at this point. At least I think. It has blown through and we have gotten over the worst of it. We might get a little more rain and a little more...

Can a penny in your pocket bring riches?

John Roberts @JohnRoberts (108584) • Los Angeles, California 7 Oct

Probably not. It's a billion to one chance a valuable rare penny is lurking in your pocket, purse or coin jar but it's possible. The penny has received increased interest since production ceased in 2025. I saw a coin expert on a...

April @thislittlepennyearns (73290) • Defuniak Springs, Florida 8 Oct

Ever since streaming services have taken over our viewing choices, cable has become less and less popular. At least as far as I am concerned. We got rid of cable years ago. It was costing us $300 a month. It wasn’t worth it....

100% of executed murderers rapists and pedophiles do not repeat their crimes

Terminator #36 @mememine (51) • Vietnam 3 Oct

Neither are they a drain to taxpayers. You don't have to feed or house them or pay someone to 'babysit' them. And if we would simply go back to chopping off heads there would be far fewer botched executions. Not cruel and...
