So, my 50 year reunion is coming up next month. I went to one in the early 90's but haven't been back since, and I imagine this will be my last one. It is just such a milestone. I am not sure any of the people I knew really well...

Last night I was able to pet 2 of the kittens. I found a way to...

The first thing I do in the morning is to thank God, the Universe, or whoever the Supreme Being out there is, who is in charge of the world, for another day to live a better life.
Today, I can correct the errors I made yesterday....

AI (artificial Intelligence) sent me a message. Super volcano is waking up. AI is not a good article writer so I asked which one. It said it was the one in Iceland. I have no hopes of pronouncing or spelling the name.
I saw that...

We are scouting for dorm for my daughter who will start her college next month.
The national state university have their own dorms, but we fail to qualify. They prioritize those who came from provinces and...

My mum will be 66 on August 9 and dad will be 70 on September 23. Are they too old for cats or things aren't the same as they were, being not too excited for having a pet?
The neighbour lady was stalling with giving out the cat...

Vince’s brother stayed with us last night. We always enjoy his company and last night was no exception. He always stays overnight if he comes for dinner. That way, we can all enjoy a wine without him having to worry about driving...

I could talk forever about the 1960s and 70s; but here's some trivia about 1965:
Minimum wage was $1.25 - I worked at the library from the age of 14-17. Because I was a student, I was paid $.70 per hour. The college kids...

I’ve written about Kokerbin Hill which is slightly north of a tiny town called Kwolyn. The natural vegetation is what I’d call open grassland. There is plenty of vegetation but it’s easy walking to wind your way through it. There...

If you look about middle of the picture along the white eave stretch you should see her. A robin has made a nest there. I am hoping it stays in place if we get some stronger winds.
I will head out to the auction in a little bit...

There are people who have to know everything. If there is a secret, they feel the need to know it. Sometimes they try to disguise it with concern, when all they really are is nosy. Would it kill them to be unaware of just one...

So what did you end up doing for the 4th? I was hoping someone would call; but it was very quiet until the fireworks started. The guy next door must have spent a gzillion dollars on fireworks because he set them off nonstop for...

We have done so many stupid things as kids. I've glued chewing gum in friend's hair, removed air from their bicycle tyres, banging on neighbors' doors and ringing their call bell and running away to hide.
We have many such...
