For me, it’s a pen. I needed one today, and for the life of me, I couldn’t find one for the longest time. Of course, I came across it hours later when I wasn’t looking at all.
Is there something you just can never find when you...

Spring has sprung!!!! The s**w is gone; and it will be in the 50s F today. What's your weather like?
Nothing much to report. Cousin #2's cousin is recovering; and cousin #2 has been making purchases for her new home. She's...

My kids go to English schools in the area.
On Tuesday, the English school board of the area said that schools would be closed yesterday due to the freezing rain being called for. As you can imagine, my kids were not complaining...

Loretta I'm glad they decided no school for safety reasons. I bet they were happy.

My world has had mild temperatures with lots of rain. This morning I let the dogs out into the yard and thought, More rain!
Hubby and I are listening to another audio book. Neither of us slept well. Toward afternoon he headed...

Vince brought home these packets of nuts. They were given to him on Batik airlines. One is Spicy Salted Caramel and the other Cacao Cinnamon. It’s funny how ‘salted caramel’ has become flavour of the year and turns up everywhere....

I think we all have food rituals, things we eat certain times of the year. But do have certain music you listen to at certain times of the year, and movies you watch too? Like The Wizard of Oz for example. I can remember watching...

This morning @GardenGerty mentioned the wind in Kansas, and let me tell you, it’s doing a number in Oklahoma. My dad’s house lost power because the wind took down his power lines. Thankfully, I still have power, but I am getting...

Our neighbor was worried about the tree continuing to split. You know he worked on it back in the fall, then we did not see hide nor hair of him for ages.
He came over in this wind and cut the problematic parts that were...

Haven't been on myLot for a good while now.
Once again in moving mode.
Was going to move out of state and that still might happen..
Nothing set in stone.
But May is the moving month.
But I think I need to save a bit more before...

5 days until spring. It's 68F today; and Tuesday night it will be 20F. Nutty weather.
The reason I'm so late today is that I didn't have any heat from last night until about 11 am today. The batteries needed to be changed...

Kitty is sitting atop her guitar amplifier. She is staring at me and licking her lips.
I already gave her dry food and fresh water.
Can she know somehow that I bought her some wet food, and that it is waiting in the cupboard for...

Appliances and gadgets...when they work, they are great. When they don't work, it's frustrating, especially when it's a kitchen appliance you count on.
Earlier in the week, my blender gave up the ghost and just died of old age....

When I bought my new car I gave my “old” (2020) one to my niece. She was driving a 2009, so she’s really having to study all of the technology upgrades.
Little did I know that switching to a hybrid involves a learning curve as...
