Sometimes...

Every few weeks my Mom and her neighbour Barbara get together and go out for lunch and then have a little shopping trip.
As I’ve been off work and staying with Mom for a while I sometimes go with them.
Barbara rang today and...

If you think that is strange, imagine opening your email and finding an email with the title "funeral sandwiches." I thought perhaps someone wanted to get rid of me. Of course, being curious, I just had to take a look at what this...

The towels were done when we got home but I still had the bedclothes.
I got...

I’ve just been watching a cookery video and there was a debate about what to call the meal.
Basically it was chunks of lamb, carrots, leek and potatoes covered in stock and cooked in the oven.
So would you call that a stew …..or...

I seem to get "sick" every time I get home from a trip and return to the Ohio Valley crud we have here in Louisville, Kentucky.
Or maybe it's just when I return from cruises after having been around 4,000 other people.
Or...

Fiacre Banks @looeyville I would blame the infectious crowd you sail with. We always stay away from sneezing, coughing crowds and so many people don’t wash their hands after you know what - it’s a wonder the human race hasn’t perished. Did the chef wash his hands before...
